Polaroids

Babetown began as my Brooklyn loft in college — part home, part creative salon — where photoshoots (often art school assignments) and artist gatherings unfolded against a now-iconic red curtain. The first Polaroids were captured during my 2014 going-away party, with additional images taken years later in Toronto when the curtain was revived as the backdrop for what evolved into the Freshmen Friday interview series (more information here).

What started as a personal space has grown into an ongoing archival series that’s now in development as a photobook. These Polaroids reflect my approach to community-driven projects — blurring the lines between lifestyle, archive, and creative collaboration.
